Becoming a tutor with TestQuest is a tough but rewarding job.  We are looking for highly dedicated, motivated, and responsible individuals who are passionate about helping children succeed.  

All tutoring will occur in the students’ home.

To be an eligible candidate for this position:
  • You MUST pass a Department of Education Screening and Finger printing check
  • You MUST have prior experience working with children
  • You Must have an Associate’s degree or have at least 20 college credits completed to be eligible
  • You MUST be a positive role model that a child would look up to
  • You MUST be reliable and responsible.
  • You MUST be totally committed to the welfare of children.

At TestQuest, we believe that it is the highest honor to work with children.  When hiring new tutors, our rule of thumb is always asking ourselves, “Would I trust this individual to come to my home and work with my child?”

We take our job very seriously and hold our tutors and our staff to the highest level of professional standards. If you are not completely serious about helping NYC’s neediest children get the academic help they deserve, this is NOT the job for you.  We refuse to take chances when it comes to the safety and well-being of our children.
